These Rules are for the PROTECTION and WELFARE of the fish and apply to all species of fish:

3 carp rods per person only, which must be attended at all times.
No long shank or bent hooks.
Barbed hooks only - no barbless hooks. Size 4 and 6 fish best.
No braid allowed apart from use on marker/spod rods.
No lead core or carp leaders of any description.
No fine braid hooklinks, e.g. Merlin etc. Coated braid only, i.e. Korda Hybrid, Snakebite etc.
Minimum 15lb breaking strain line only. Reels of a suitable size to used and must be fully spooled.
No death or fixed rigs.
No fixed or inline leads - semi-fixed only. Lead release clips to be cut back to allow the lead to release freely if snagged.
Never stand up whilst holding a fish or carry to another swim.
Always break and roll down the arms of the landing net, making sure that the pecs of the fish are pointing to the rear of the body.
Once on the swim, the fish are to be moved only in a weigh sling or unhooking mat - which must be wet before use and watering cans are provided for this purpose.
Keep the fish wet and return to the lake ASAP and be extra vigilant on hot days.
A minimum of 26 inch rig tubing is to be used at all times.
No nuts are allowed. Only particles prepared and supplied by us may be used.
No shelf life bait allowed. Pop-ups are fine.
No sacking of fish under any circumstances.
Klinik or similar to be used on all hook marks.
Respect the other anglers by keeping mobile phone ring tones and radio volumes down.
Anyone, who in the Bailiff's opinion, is incapable of fishing due to excess alcohol or drugs will have their rods reeled in.
Bait boats are allowed BUT on single party bookings only NOT mixed parties.
No trout or high oil pellets allowed.
No children under the age of 12. Between the ages of 12 and 15 only allowed if accompanied by a family member.
No plastic baits.
To avoid cross-contamination, only Unhooking Mats and Weigh Slings provided by Flores Carp Experience may be used. Your Landing Nets MUST be dipped upon arrival at the lake.
Landing Nets must be 42 inches minimum.
